BMP run Rokeya Sadan is a transient safe shelter home for women and girl child who are victims of violence and social injustice. A total number of 6 including  2 new victims were given shelter in Sadan. During this Covid period members residing in the hostels of different educational institution came back and were given shelter in Rokeya Sadan. During this existing  Covid-19 crisis  special care for safety is provided to the residents. Shelter for new residents  had been temporally restricted and they were referred to Victim support center (VSC). During lockdown 7 online sharing meetings between subcommittee members and residents  were held. As their educational institution is closed, they are given mobile data support for online class. laptops have been given to 3 graduate students  for doing online class and for receiving training on the application of information technology. Now with their own initiatives they got employed. 4 residents got job and returned to their families. One of the  resident is working  within organization . Completing nursing training one of the resident is doing job in medical college under UNFPA project .
