On 11 April 2023, the Central Legal Aid Sub-Committee of Bangladesh Mahila Parishad (BMP) organized a sharing views meeting with the pannel lawyers of BMP at Anwara Begum- Munira Khan Auditorium Segunbagicha, Dhaka to accelerate the legal aid activities of BMP. Dr. Fauzia Moslem, President of Bangladesh Mahila Parishad chaired the meeting. Dr. Maleka Banu, General Secretary of BMP spoke at the meeting. Joint General Secretary Adv. Masuda Rehana Begum, spoke regarding the objective of the meeting. A total of 25 persons including leaders of BMP, panel lawyers and lawyers of Legal Aid Unit attended the meeting. Rekha Saha, Legal Aid Secretary of Bangladesh Mahila Parishad facilitated the program.
Among the panel lawyers Adv. S.M.A. Sabur, Adv. Aminul Islam, Barrister A.K. Rashedul Haq, Adv. Hashem Raja Shawpan, Adv. Sohel Ahmed, Adv. Prashanta Kumar Karmakar, Adv. Nur Uddin, and adv. Sohana Akter spoke and gave their opinion. Adv. Hasina Parvin, Adv. Dipti Shikdar, Adv. Ram Lal Raha, and Adv. Fatema Khatun also gave their opinion.
