As in previous years, this year too, with the aim of strengthening the organization nationwide and expanding its activities, the slogan “Gender Equality: A Prerequisite for a Non-Discriminatory Society” has been chosen for the Organizational Fortnight, which will be observed from October 18 to October 31, 2024. This program will be implemented simultaneously from the grassroots to the central level. Through the observance of the Organizational Fortnight, the commitment to accountability, responsibility, and transparency of the organizers at the central and district branches will be made visible.
Central Level Programs for the Organizational Fortnight:
– October 18, 2024: Inauguration of the Organizational Fortnight by displaying banners/e-banners.
– Renewal of membership for the central committee in Dhaka, members of the National Council in Dhaka, and officials working at the central office.
– Participation in regular programs of the sub-committee and district branches, providing organizational training, and conducting organizational tours.
– Organizing view exchange meetings with young women to foster young leadership and involve them in organizational activities.
– Promoting current issue-based posters and slogans on social media or online platforms in observance of the Organizational Fortnight.
– Writing about the organization and promoting programs in the media.
– Implementing programs in coordination with other sub-comittee of the central committee during the Organizational Fortnight.
– Conducting a closing ceremony for the Organizational Fortnight.
District Level Programs for the Organizational Fortnight:
– Convening meetings of the executive committee in all districts to finalize district programs in coordination with the central committee’s programs.
– October 18, 2024: Inauguration of the Organizational Fortnight in all district branches by displaying banners/e-banners, along with membership recruitment and renewal.
– Holding worker meetings at district and grassroots branches. Agenda for the worker meetings: “Gender Equality: A Prerequisite for a Non-Discriminatory Society.”
– Conducting various programs with each root-level committee under all district branches.
– Organizing exchange meetings with young women/participants in anti-discrimination movements on the topic “Eliminating Discrimination for Women’s Rights: Young Women’s Perspectives.”
– Holding view exchange meetings with men and women from all classes and professions at the district branch.
– District branches will independently organize creative programs such as essay competitions, extempore speeches, debates, etc.
– Ensuring the promotion and publication of the Organizational Fortnight in local and national media.
– Conducting a closing ceremony for the Organizational Fortnight on October 31, 2024.
